I saw your face today - Poem #7

I saw your face today even though you are miles away 

My heart skipped a beat as I looked the other way

I hesitated to look again for my hopes will fade away 

My carious eyes ignored my fear and looked your way

It was not you and his eyes were the give away 

They didn't have the passion you do when you look my way

I did not see your face today but I did in a imaginary way

I can go on and on but I will leave my nostalgia at bay
