I Am - Poem #1

I am what I believe, what I say and what I think

I am where I come from, where I've been, and where I go  

I am the books I read, the music I listen to and the things I watch

I am the people I grew up with and the strangers I meet

I am my friends and the souls whose lives I somehow touch

I am all the fantasy tales and conversations in my mind

I am the love I give and the love I receive

I am the breaths I take and the one I give

I am a daughter, a friend, and a woman

I am the overwhelming feminine with a hint of masculine energy

I am the peacemaker, the spark to a fire and the thunder to a storm

I am a unique pearl you find inside an oyster

I am the only stone made from pain and suffering

I am a warm conversation and the simply complicated and annoying feeling

I have a foot on earth and a foot in heaven with a heart in between

I speak wisdom, kindness with a hint of truth and fire 

I am positive by nature and determination, but I know negativity far too well

I am a dreamer who understands and a doer who manifests 

I am a daughter of God and a friend of the spirit 

I am a multi-passionate soul and a rebel with a cause

I am the I can go on and on, but let's put a stop to it for now
